  The Winners of the 2001 Golden Chain Theatre Awards 
On January 6th, 2001, The Golden Chain Theatre held its’ 33rd Annual Awards Ceremony in recognition of outstanding contributions made to the theater during the past year.
This year, the board opened up a new Awards Category, "Golden Legends". This new award recognizes outstanding achievement by past volunteers who have left and indelible impression on the theatre, and have left us for the footlights in the heavens. The first inductees for this award are, Bernie Dent, Ron Cobble, Chuck Butterfield, and LaRetta and Jerry Roope. Each year, during award night, "gag" awards are given to those folks in recognition of "bloopers" or other memorable occurrences during the season. The board elected this year to name these gag awards "Golden Roopes" in honor of Jerry Roope. This years "Roope" winners are pictured here:

The Board of Directors also took time to recognize every participant who made the 2000 season a success and awarded everyone a certificate of appreciation and accomplishment. We finished the night with a group photo of this years theatre volunteers. Our theatre wouldn't be here without ALL of you!
