This Fall, The Golden Chain Theatre presents "I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT DIDN'T WIN A  TONY!", a musical revue directed by Jennifer Piccolotti.  This show will take a look at many  wonderful musicals throughout the years that never won the Granddaddy of all Tony  Awards, Best Musical. We are looking for approximately a dozen solid vocal performers  with great stage presence that have vocal versatility, being able to sing several different  styles. The performance numbers will be solidified AFTER the audition process, so that all  ages have an opportunity to audition.  The show will be written around the cast chosen.  Auditions, Rehearsals and Shows will be held at the Golden Chain Theatre, 42130 Hwy 41,  Oakhurst CA.  The audition process will be very different from what GCT has done in the past.  There will  be FOUR audition dates. They will be "open mic" style, where those auditioning will bring a  performance track and perform their chosen song in front of the other  auditionees. Any  broadway song is acceptable for the audition.  Tracks can be found and purchased for 99  cents on Itunes and burned to a CD.  After the vocalists have performed, there will be a  short dance audition.   ALL FOUR  audition dates are NOT REQUIRED, but they are being  offered to give the opportunity to choose a new song each week and show versatility.  If  you choose to only attend one of these audition dates, you will still be considered for  casting.   AUDITION DATES:            Monday, May 14, 7-9  Monday, May 21, 7-9  Monday, May 28, 7-9  Monday, June 4, 7-9  CAST MEETING: June 8, 7pm   SOLO COACHING REHEARSALS:  Once a week, from June 11- August 11, According to      the availability and work schedules of the cast. FULL CAST REHEARSALS: Beginning August 13th Monday- Friday  7-10 SHOW DATES:   Saturdays and Sundays, October 6,7,13,14,20,21  (Call time on Saturdays 6pm, Call time for Sundays 1pm)
