Re-live the excitement of the old west at the Golden
Chain Theatre as the disciples of Thespis recreate 19th century historic
and melodrama theatre on three stages! Boo the villain, cheer the hero,
and commiserate with virtue in distress; be dazzled by the glittering
Garter Girls, be amazed by the unpredictable and zany antics of our Grub
Gulch Grannies and be thoroughly entertained. Fun-for-the-whole-family
Melodrama productions!
The Golden Chain Theatre is a charitable
non-profit community theatre dedicated to the performance, presentation and
preservation of 19th century historic and melodramatic
productions. Celebrating our 36th consecutive season in 2003, the
9,000 square foot facility offers seating for 265 patrons cabaret style (306
legal capacity) Enter the Lobby and step back in time to the 1800’s as you
are greeted at the door by costumed characters. Within you will find a
family-friendly saloon, newly formed School of Performing Arts and the Patti
Law-Poggi Dance Studio.
The
regular season runs June – November, with productions every Saturday evening
and matinee performances every other Sunday. Check the website or call our

Parties of 24 or more enjoy group rate pricing and special VIP status
complete with backstage tour* and your personal hostess. The Golden Chain
Theatre is an excellent destination choice for your family, friends, tour
groups and corporate functions. Facilities are available for company
retreats, team building as well as holiday parties, weddings and family
reunions!
