25th 2002, the Golden Chain Theatre and the Eastern Madera County Chamber of
Commerce hosted an elegant evening at our theatre, "Oakhurst Goes to
the Oscars". The stars were out as look-alike celebrities
strutted their stuff and guests enjoyed complimentary champagne and food
prepared by local celebrity chefs, as the Oscars were viewed on the big
screen, the Saloon and Lobby.
Many local businesses
donated time and product to make this event a success, including Deuceys,
Global View Satellite, Sierra Tel Business Systems, Kats Kreative
Photography, Three Sisters Bakery, and many others.
This second annual
