The miracles of Steam Locomotion and horse-less carriage means we
can come to you! Thousands of people
from around the world have enjoyed
our portable melodrama troupe's performances, and thousands of dollars have been
raised by organizations using our group's unique variety of entertainment as a
fundraiser!
An evening of portable melodrama at your location or ours includes an MC who introduces the idea of melodrama and promotes group-interaction with the show, traditional Can-Can dancers, a two-act play, and olio entertainment, including the famous Grub Gulch Garter Girls and Grub Gulch Grannies! The complete show generally runs just over an hour. We request access to the facility for performance at least one hour prior to show time for sound equipment setup and a private area that will allow for costume changes and makeup application (the ladies and gentlemen's lavatories will work just fine!) Electrical connections to operate our sound system are also preferred, but we can make adjustments for other locations. We're flexible -- We can perform in backyards, on stages, auditoriums, street corners or parking lots, for large or small groups!
Due to copyright restrictions on the materials presented, video cameras or audio recordings of productions are not allowed; however, our cast is happy to pose for photo opportunities (high volume photography may incur additional charges).
In most cases, we can do some customization of the show and it's content to include your events raffles, prize drawings, awards, or announcements, or include names and phrases specific to your event in the show dialogue. *

$800.00 per performance, minimum, up to 75 persons, or $11.50 per person over 75.
$1000.00 per performance minimum , up to 75 persons, or $13.50 per person over 75. Includes pre-show entertainment. ADD an additional fee of $3.00 per mile over 200 miles up to 350 miles. ADD an additional fee of $5.00 per mile if one-way mileage exceeds 300 miles. ** Negotiation for overnight accommodations possible in lieu of mileage fee. See below.
$2000.00 up to 75 persons, minimum, or $26.50 per person for groups over 75. Includes pre-show and additional Olio Entertainment. ** Overnight accommodations and transportation provided at your expense. See below. The Fine Print:
Any booking dates must be "held" by a minimum 1/2 deposit received and processed by our offices no later then two weeks prior to performance. Credit Cards are preferred. Deposits are non-refundable. However, if we are able to reschedule for you at another date that does not conflict with other commitments, the deposit will be applied towards total performance fees. Performances with a fee of $550.00 or more require the return of a signed contract with the deposit to hold the date. Show specifications, olio acts and performers subject to change without notice or obligation. Due to copyright laws, no video taping of performances is allowed. * Modifications to show dialogue are minor and done in a manner that does not interrupt the intent of the author, due to copyright regulations. Custom scripting is available with advance notice and pre-negotiated fees ($450.00 minimum in addition to performance fees). We can write an entire show based on your desires and event; minimum six month advance notice and deposit of $1,000.00 required., not including performance fees) All custom shows are "G" rated. We may entertain the idea of performing your script for a negotiable fee.More Info:
