Covid-19 Updates

COVID-19 AND OUR THEATRE

Although concerns surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continue, Madera County has advised us that it will be safe to open our doors to the public again on June 15, with precautionary measures. At this time time the Golden Chain Theatre Board of Directors will be re-evaluating our 2021 -2022 season and notify our patrons and theatre community as to our next steps.
Our team is actively making every effort to schedule rehearsals for a Fall show. Any tickets purchased for shows previously scheduled to happen during the quarantine will be honored for the rescheduled dates, or exchanged for another indoor performance at our theatre. Ticket holders will be sent a separate email with more information in regard to this as soon as we have a concrete plan for reopening. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this postponement may cause.
Though the indoor auditorium at Golden Chain Theatre will be closed to the public for the time being, our team will continue to work on the mission we hold so dearly – to preserve our local theatre and provide quality arts, entertainment, and education to Eastern Madera County and beyond. While we wait in the wings, we thank you for your continued support during this time and anxiously await the opportunity to share the arts with you once again.

Please join us this summer for our 2021 DRIVE-IN MELODRAMA.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. As soon as we are able, the show will go on.
