Golden Chain Theatre's Sponsorship Program

Over 50 years ago, a small group of people started the Golden Chain Theatre to provide an entertainment outlet for a, then, very small mountain community. The theatre grew through the offerings of historical drama and melodrama for tourists coming through Oakhurst and the local community. GCT continues to improve our offerings of shows and community involvement.

As we often say, this is your Golden Chain Theatre, and together we can make GCT a destination location in the mountain communities for quality entertainment and arts education. We are excited to give you this opportunity to be a member of the program that is going to make a massive difference in what we can accomplish. Our hope is that you will partner with us in preserving the arts and arts education in our town. Be a part of something that is growing and making a difference in Eastern Madera County.

Amazing things are happening and with your support, we will do more than we even imagined we could do in changing the lives of students throughout our community and also provide a beautiful center for the arts and arts education in the mountains. Our hope is that you will partner with us in preserving the arts and arts education in our community and be a part of something that is growing and making a difference. We could not do any of this without you.

Stagehand, Actor, Director, Producer, or Founder—Which one will you be?

As a non-profit organization, we could not operate without the generosity of donors and sponsors—like you. In addition, there are scholarships that we provide for underprivileged children so they can take lessons and enrich their lives via the Golden Chain Theatre School of Performing Arts. Your generosity helps fund these programs and more!

Why we need your help

Your sponsorship of Golden Chain Theatre is more than support for affordable live theatre in the mountains. Your sponsorship helps provide:

Scholarships for low-income youth                Show needs such as costuming, lighting, royalties, and sets

School of Performing Arts equipment             And more!
